Herbert Tabin is a CBS Television News Tech Correspondent, author, consultant, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, merger and acquisition expert as well as noted specialist in online reputation management and monitoring. He has worked with many internet startups and founded Vois.com as well as the blog sCommerce.com and operated Rev2.org.

His book, Do It Yourself Online Reputation Management – A Step-By-Step Guide to Building or Fixing Your Reputation Online; is now available on Amazon.com or at DoItYourselfOnlineReputationManagement.com. His second book Checked-In: How To Use Gowalla, Foursquare and Other Geo-Location Applications For Fun and Profit was just released as well and is available for purchase on Amazon.

Tabin has been featured on the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine – Entrepreneurs Business Start-Ups, The Palm Beach Post, and in Steve Spalding’s book – ‘All the Little Things’ – Get the advice you will need to get your idea out of the garage and onto the web. He is a frequent speaker at tech events such as Refresh and LaidOffCamp. Over the years he has been nominated for various awards for his entrepreneurial activities including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award where he was awarded The Award for Business Leadership.

He was also nominated for one his recent ventures at Mashable’s Open Web Awards as a finalist for best Large Scale Social Network, winning best “Photo Sharing Website Category”. Furthermore, in March 2000, the State University of New York At Oneonta named their campuses largest computer lab, the ‘ Tabin Computer Lab.
